Tentative Plans, subject to change:
Thursday night (6/10) – supper at a local Fish Camp.
Friday (6/11), a trip to Historic Brattonsville. It is a 775 acre Revolutionary War Battlefield, with over 30 historic structures dating from 18th and 19th century. Location of the film “The Patriot”. Supper, TBD.
Saturday (6/12), a trip to Kings Mountain Battlefield in North Carolina. The park was pivotal and significant to victory by American Patriots over American Loyalists during the Revolutionary War. The battle was fought on October 7, 1780, and destroyed the left wing of Lord Cornwallis’ army. The park includes a living history farm, a barn, cotton gin, blacksmith’s shop, and carpenter’s shop.

Plans are for three days of fellowship, daily cruises and exploration of some of the many area attractions and communities in Northwest Ohio, plus a celebration of the 75th Anniversary of King Midgets (1946 – 2021).
LODGING – THE HAMPTON INN IS THE HOST HOTEL, LOCATED AT 142 CAMPBELL HILL ROAD JUST OFF OF INTERSTATE 75. A BLOCK OF ROOMS IS RESERVED FOR THE JAMBOREE AT A REDUCED RATE. CALL 419-353-3464 and ask for the king midget rate. NO TRAILERS ARE TO BE PARKED IN THE HOTEL LOT. AMPLE TRAILER PARKING WILL BE LOCATED in lots across the road. THE HOTEL IS SURROUNDED BY MANY RESTAURANTS AND OTHER CONVENIENCES, MANY IN EASY WALKING DISTANCE OF THE HOTEL.
